As you know, HWMS hearts motorcycles. Scooters are acceptable as well, I guess. One of the best things that has happened for motorcyclists in Cincinnati is the addition of FREE “two-wheeler” parking in the downtown area.
I love going downtown, but the bottom line is, with the lack of a decent transportation system in our city, easy parking is a must, and in my opinion, is the weak spot in our otherwise great downtown. I don’t work downtown, so I don’t get to see these spots in use on a daily basis, but apparently the city must feel they are successful, as they are now considering three additional spots for two-wheel-only use. Click here for a Google map of the proposed spots and an email address to leave feedback.

The details are not final yet, but HWMS will be hosting a screening of Truth in 24 in the very near future. Please check back for date, time, place, etc. If you’d like to be emailed when everything is worked out, send a message to dfessel at gmail dot com.
I’m not much of a fan of drag racing, but I am a fan of The Price is Right. If you haven’t seen it, Pass Time on SPEED has three contestants guessing the trap times of random people on random machines after asking them a few basic questions.
The best part about this is the random dumbasses they find to fling their douche-machines down the track. I couldn’t find any videos of the moron on his Titan (worthless motorcycle) that about ate his steering stem, but here’s a sample of the show.
Actor Dom Deluise passed away in his sleep yesterday evening. He was 75. Most people will remember him for appearances in various Mel Brooks films, but us car folks will always remember him as Victor Prinzim aka Captain Chaos from The Cannonball Run series.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Roger Penske is among those interested in purchasing Saturn from GM. Could a Sky Red Line be in my future? Saturn, as it is, seems like a mixed bag of goodness (Sky, Astra) and badness (Aura, Outlook).
I for one would be very disappointed to see Saturn go the way of Pontiac. These two brands, both of which had identity crises, were, to me at least, the brands that represented a lot of the excitement coming out of GM in the recent past. I think that if GM would have stayed healthy we would have seem some good stuff coming to both of these brands. A reborn Saturn, out of the hands of GM could mean some interesting things. I would imagine that Roger Penske is not looking to buy this brand to get his hands on a rebadged Trailblazer.
